FRP canopies are available for all types, makes of motors both for horizontal (B 3 mounting) and vertical (V 1) mounting . Frame size 71 M to 630 M and also for HT/LT motors.

It has been a general practice of providing some short of protection to electric motors, the most common being from MS or GI sheets. Due to prevailing corrosion, MS/GI guards needs periodical painting but again it has limited life. MS/GI guards are heavy too, compared to plastic guards.

B. One piece moulded FRP Plastic guard for electric motors. Frame size: 132 to 400M.
C. Guard for Frame size 400 and above will be of half size i.e. upto just above the shaft of the motor. The motor will remain uncovered below the shaft.
